We were pretty excited for Lisa & Russ' photoshoot, but when we saw them we realized how excited they were as well. We started the photoshoot with a couple of spots at the arboretum and then made our way downtown. The lucky couple had perfect weather, it was sunny and warm. Launching Sister Site!!!

We are so excited because we have just launched a second site!!! You can check it out at http://www.photographybyramin.ca/ . We are still working on it, at the moment it has just wedding galleries, we are planning to post other projects on it as well. Cheers.

Arrival of Spring

Last Friday, March 20th was officially the first day of spring. Who better to celebrate the occassion than with all of the ducks and birds along the Ottawa River. There are so many varieties of birds arriving from the south, I spotted six pairs of wood ducks.

Team Work

In the past year I have been receiving emails from young photographers and also other photographers requesting to accompany me as a second shooter. I was overwhelmed and humbled with the interest in my style and the number of applicants. It made me realize that my website needed to be updated. Usually, my wife, Patty-Lou accompanies me as a second shooter and an assistant. I also have to mention that she is a fine-art painter and an expert in photoshop. Today we had an opportunity to take a portrait of ourselves to post in my website. I appreciate all of those people who have contacted me, I will keep you in mind if I ever find myself stuck, thank-you for your interest.

Flying Down the Isle

Last Sunday I was down by the Ottawa River Parkway enjoying the mild temperature and beautiful day. It was lovely to see all of the birds and animals. This lucky couple (Canadian geese) caught my attention and made me excited for the upcoming wedding season.

The samples below show an example of what we can accomplish from one image (colour close-up & sepia close-up cropped from the third image). Each picture has been cropped, colour corrected, filters added and other necessary work in photoshop. Although you can see how all three images are beautiful, they each all have different impression and mood. We take our time in photoshop with every project and our main focus is to produce high quality photos.

Finally, we had good weather which made it a great opportunity to shoot Julie & Owen's portrait. They decided on something simple and casual, and we thought a photoshoot downtown on Sunday afternoon would be perfect. Here are a few teasers shots of this lovely couple.
