Wedding Photography 2009

It was a great season for wedding photography! We were blessed with amazing couples and enjoyed celebrating their big day with them, their friends and families. We're just finishing up editing the last wedding images and would like to wish all of our Brides and Grooms Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year.

Winner of the Week by Canadian Geographic

This photo has been chosen by Canadian Geographic as the winner of this week's Photo of the Week contest. The image was taken in 2006 and also it was the last time that I captured lightning. Portrait of my Deer Friends

I was out for a walk on one of my favourite trails in Ottawa's West end and I came across my deer friends ... ;) It is one of those subjects that I never get tired of. The thrill of sneaking up behind them or trying to see them before they see you. It is pretty exciting! They are usually kind enough to give me a quick pose before they dash off.

Family Portrait at the Ottawa Arboretum

It was wonderful to spend Sunday afternoon with this lovely family. From the mom & dad to the little one, they did great! They smiled, laughed and played all the way which made the photo session pretty fun. Below are some of my favourites.

Heavenly Arboretum of Ottawa

Last week-end I spent Saturday scouting for spots at Experimental Farm for a family portrait shoot for the next day. Saturday was overcast and raining, the colour was absolutely stunning, and it made me excited for Sunday. Overall, I am a nature & landscape photographer and I get inspired by nature. Lisa & Greg's E-Shoot

It was another beautiful day and it was lovely to photograph Lisa & Greg. I promised Lisa and Greg I would post their E-Shoot by the end of the week, but as I am such a work-a-holic (for photography), I decided to work on their images and post them the same day anyways. I was pretty thrilled with the results. Lisa and Greg are getting married early next Summer and we are looking forward for their big day. Enjoy some of the images from the e-shot.

Kim & Nevon's E-Shoot

Kim & Nevon drove all the way from Trenton for their engagement session, we where thrilled that it turned out to be such a gorgeous day. They will be getting married April 2010 at Fort Henry in Kingston. We had a great time with Kim & Nevon, they are an easy going, sweet couple and we can't wait for their Big day. Christine & Chris' Family Portrait

Saturday was a beautiful day, although it was a little on the cool side. It didn't take too long before the boys warmed up by throwing leaves and running all over the park. Time flies when you are having a good time, just a little over ten years ago I photographed Christine and Chris' wedding and now they have two wonderful boys. It was fun to spend the afternoon with them. Here are some of my favourites from the photoshoot.

Stephanie & Aaron's E-Shoot

Stephanie & Aaron drove all the way from Sudbury for Thanksgiving week-end as well as for their engagement photo session. They are to be married in Sudbury next year in October.
